The Capital Corridor initiative was created to facilitate regional, national, and global economic growth and integration.
The foundation of the Strategic Plan of The Capital Corridor is to establish the Corridor as a thriving entity for economic development and integration, business, and tourism. Short-term, intermediate, and long-term initiatives are designed to promote the Corridor as a gateway for opportunity, innovation, and creativity. Our initiatives will encourage membership of the private sector, academia, and villages, towns, cities, counties, provinces and states along the corridor. Plans include meetings with stakeholders and interested constituents to leverage their strengths, promote regional economic development, foster public/private partnerships, and facilitate a timely exchange of information among stakeholders along the corridor.
